چکیده

Metallic nanohole arrays exciting both surface plasmon polariton (SPP) and localized resonance (LSPR) in a single thin film have sparked considerable interest the field of plasmonics. To exert their full potential for generation hot electrons visible light, we bury an Au array (AuNHA) under TiO2 layer decorate Pt nanoparticles randomly on to form Pt/TiO2/AuNHA nanocomposite. As compared Pt/TiO2/Au film, sample with 90 nm hole diameter shows enhancement 4.1 folds photocurrent density, 14.7 peak incident photon-to-current conversion efficiency, 9.4 degradation methyl orange. Moreover, numerical simulations are conducted analyze contributions SPP LSPR effects at different wavelengths. This work is first study AuNHAs fully covered by provides unique design photoelectrodes solar photocatalysis applications.

Dielectrophoresis-Enhanced Plasmonic Sensing with Gold Nanohole Arrays

We experimentally demonstrate dielectrophoretic concentration of biological analytes on the surface of a gold nanohole array, which concurrently acts as a nanoplasmonic sensor and gradient force generator. The combination of nanohole-enhanced dielectrophoresis, electroosmosis, and extraordinary optical transmission through the periodic gold nanohole array enables real-time label-free detection ...

Interferometric Plasmonic Lensing with Nanohole Arrays.

Nonlinear photoemission electron microscopy (PEEM) of nanohole arrays in gold films is used to map propagating surface plasmons (PSPs) launched from lithographically patterned structures. Strong near-field photoemission patterns are observed in the PEEM images, recorded following low angle of incidence irradiation of nanohole arrays with sub-15 fs laser pulses centered at 780 nm. The recorded p...

Plasmonic silver quantum dots coupled with hierarchical TiO2 nanotube arrays photoelectrodes for efficient visible-light photoelectrocatalytic hydrogen evolution

A plasmonic Ag/TiO2 photocatalytic composite was designed by selecting Ag quantum dots (Ag QDs) to act as a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) photosensitizer for driving the visible-light driven photoelectrocatalytic hydrogen evolution. Vertically oriented hierarchical TiO2 nanotube arrays (H-TiO2-NTAs) with macroporous structure were prepared through a two-step method based on electrochemical an...

Reduced graphene oxide modified highly ordered TiO2 nanotube arrays photoelectrode with enhanced photoelectrocatalytic performance under visible-light irradiation.

In this paper, reduced graphene oxide modified highly ordered TiO2 nanotube arrays (RGO-TNTs) have been fabricated and used for photoelectrocatalytic (PEC) degradation of organic pollutants under visible light irradiation. Firstly, the RGO-TNT electrode was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman, FT-IR, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and UV-v...
